Anentome helena egg...

My Assassin snail (Anentome helena) have been laying eggs all over their tank and they have also begun to hatch. There are now a few on the glass at the gravel line and I got a fairly good photo through the bio film covered glass.

I hope to follow it's development with photos as long as the egg is not disturbed.

do they eat their own kind, or just other kinds of snails?

nice find mate, hope they hatch for you. i just got a hand full of them last week.

I already have some eggs that hatched, but finding the very tiny young is a chore.

No they do not eat their own kind...
