Angel dilema

Just brought home a couple angels for my 55. Noticed some black spots between mouth and eye on one. The spots look like they go into the body. Not familiar with angels or parasites. Are they parasites or am i being over cautious? Don't want to stress him out any more today. Might take him back tomorrow to check. Hopefully the pics are clear enough to see.

not real sure about those spots. have some concern about the tank though - is it still cycling? even if the fish are not sick, the presence of ammonia and nitrite can be very harmful or even fatal to young angels.
 
Yes the tank has finished cycling...haven't updated my info yet. Ammonia and Nitrites are 0.
Any other ideas??

maybe someone else will have an idea about it. my first thought was maybe hole in the head, but 1. thar angel seems too young for the disease and looks very good otherwise and 2. that presents with white spots/holes, not black ones as far as I know. second thought because the spots look kinda blue/purple - maybe someone tried to tattoo it? but that seems stupid.

so i don't know. . .
 
I consulted my husband on this because I wasn't for sure, but he agrees with me, this is a fungal and parasitic problem together.
The best treatment, if you're very careful:
Methylene blue on a q-tip, gently (please don't chase the fish endlessly until it's stressed beyond belief) catch the fish in a net, while in the net take the q-tip with methylene blue on it and gently but quickly dab each spot, then release the fish back into the water. You may have to do this once/day for a week before it begins to clear up.
At the same time, take the food you are offering, coat it with a small amount of metronidazole and feed this out for 7 days. At same time treat the entire tank with metronidazole (hexamit is metronidazole) according to directions (every other day for 3 treatments).
Be patient, this may take a few wks to completely go away, and you may have to run a 2nd course of treatment with the metronidazole to the tank once the first is finished.
