A friend of mine has a half dozen baby marble veiltail angels. They're about half dollar size, grown out from dime sized.
She's worried about the tail on one of them-it isn't held fully stretched like the others, sort of folded in half-more of a U shape than a V. I told her I thought it might be a genetic thing, not disease, but she asked me to check here. That one also has a sort of bent dorsal fin-a bit shark-like and one of the ventrals is shorter than the other and ends in a curlicue.
They look great otherwise, no spots, eating well, water parameters are good.
I'm not sure she's going to forgive me for buying my new angel, since she was hoping I'd take one of hers. Pretty soon she'll be looking for homes for most of them.
thanks, Ellen
