Angel fish dying

first of all, you need to research more thoroughly what the symptoms of your fish are before you start treating with antibiotics. different antibiotics treat different illnesses. giving your fish the wrong kind may stress them out even more.

second, if you can get maracyn, you can get clove oil and vodka. the vodka i would assume you would know where to get, but the clove oil you can pick up at almost any drug store in the dental section.

Yep, i did it today, put her in a vbowl of freezing water, the surface was iced up and i broke a hole through it, to my avail she kept breathing, so i got a whole bunch of ice cubes and dumped them on top of her, it took about 30 secs for her to die completely, Pistol pete are you form Longisland?

You can try to treat her with Marycn and Marycn 2. Use them together and follow the directions to the T. After the treatment do a water change and you can use activated carbon to remove any leftover meds. Honestly, after trying this treatment and there is no noticeable improvement, I would euthanize her. If you have no other way you can take some water and put it in the freezer until it develops a thin layer of ice. Then you can drop the fish in that water and she will instantly die.

So sorry this is happening to your angel. I wish you the best of luck.

marinemom, i did exactly that, i tried some maracyn but i think her swim bladder had already failed, i did the freezing water with the thin layer of ice but she didnt die instantly, she took about 30 seconds to die.

So sorry for your loss. Under the circumstances you did the right thing. Now, she will no longer have to suffer. Again, so sorry for your loss.

I think you did the right thing. Nasty job, but its your responsibility and I hope you don't feel too bad about it.

Yes good job, it must be hard.
