angel fish eggs eaten

I have a pair of angel fish ,they have eggs every week , eggs are fertle they fan the eggs for about two or three days then they eat the eggs .the pare are one year old and two year old .could this be caused because the pair are not mature ?This has happend for about six times .they are in a fifty five gal tank by themself.

Mine have been doing this for a year or so. Is your tank in a high traffic area of the house? Sometimes they will eat the eggs in an effort to "protect" them from what they see as danger with people walking by the tank.

this also happens if this is not a true pair or an inexperienced pair.
