Yes, Sorry I meant bacteria. Also I have the filter system that came with my 55 galloon tank. It is a dual filter system that has 2 seperate filters and water comes out in 2 places side by side. It appears to be working rather nicely. I will be sure to keep you updated with what happens over the next few weeks.

The filters will only filter out debris and chemicals from the water untill the bacterial colony has been established in them, at which time they will start taking care of the ammonia and nitrites for you. From everything I have read too the only quick start bacteria suppliment that actually works is Bio-Spria.
