My angel fish that i've had for five years has a large raised bump on it's side that just appeared there five days ago. there's no sign of injury or parasites on the outside. The bump is approximately the diameter of a dime, and is raised about an eighth of an inch. Besides the bump, the fish appears and acts healthy, and the water chemistry is good. the only thing different with the aquarium in the last year is that a month ago,I started to use supplemental co2.(the type that uses chemical reaction).
Does anyone know what this might be? And what, if anything may be done.
