I currently have 2 pair in a 55 with a school of cory's and a pair of Bn's.
angels are angels and of course Cichlids..aggression is common among cichlids.
and typical angel behavior.
even the most peaceful will spar. my 2 pair have divided the tank to almost half. they will invade each other s territories..it is angel behavior.
if you house several angels in a 55 you will run the risk of pairs forming.. if this happens the 55 will become a battle ground..dominant males will harass the heck out of other males. you will need to make adjustments. you can whittle the number or a single or a pair. or how ever many that can deal with the issues associated with angels. the ratio for angels in a large tank is 10-15 gallons per angel(adult).
angels love vertical structure..tall plants etc.
