I come home from work to find the my 2 favorite angels(marble variation) have layed eggs! how exciting, they are visciously defending the area, unfortunitly the eggs were layed directly on my heater, looks to be over 200 of them, 3/4ths look to be fertalized. I aumme they are doomed already due to being on the heater correct? thats ok, i dont have the equipment to raise them yet anyway. I would like to try my hand at it if they spawn again, could someone tell me the best ways to do this? Should i move them into a new tank, what size? how should it be set up?raise them myself, or do some angels make good parents? I've read up on what to do once the eggs are hatched, like bbs and sponge filters, but i need to get them that far first! Thanks for any input

Yes ,I would say the eggs are doomed.
Quick question: what would you do if your heater suddenly failed? Advice: go on to eBay and buy an old and very cheap heater for back up.
The Angels may have selected the heater as the best spot to lay their eggs; I would suggest buying Amazon Sword plants and the Angels will lay there. Might be an idea to fit a heater guard as well?
When the Fry hatch the Angels will eat them so would be a good idea to separate the Angels from the Eggs once the Eggs are fertilised (the male will do sprints above the eggs when he is fertilisng and the water will go slightly cloudly around there too - leave a day then take the Angels away)

thanks for the advice! lol, whats with the random question about what if my heater suddenly failed? and I would just drive the couple blocks down to petland, as they give all of their visi-therm stealth heaters a 2 year guarenty.
yes, but it is much easier to just goto petland, switch it for a brnad new one, and have them send it in and such, and for my tank to have heat again within 15 minutes of discovering the malfunction.
