Angel torn apart

I lost my black veil angel tonight. Taken down by a pair with eggs. I thought they were all okay together, but obviously I was mistaken. I really liked that fish....lots of personality and very beautiful. He was usually the 1st to greet me when I walked in the room. The tank's not gonna be the same without him.

sorry to hear it, vtx... it's usually what happens when 2 pair off and there is an odd man out...

That sucks, I had the same kind of thing happen, but luckily managed to get a 29G set up before the pair killed the odd one out.

Lost a huge black to his mate, I think 'cuz he ate the eggs. She was half his size and took a giant chunk out of his forehead. Never saw it coming. They had spawned 4 or 5 times together before that.
