one of me and my girlfriends angle fish's top fin has become slightly curved at the top and i was wondering if anyone knew what could have caused this.
 
is the fin very long? and by curve do you mean it is starting to fall over on itself? or is just a curve in the fin?

i have two angels and their top fin is not always sticking straight up. they relax their fins when they are relaxed. is this what you mean by curved? just laid back a little?
 
the fin isnt very long and its like the fin is curled over and almost touching but just a little . its been like that for a few weeks.
 
it could be a broken place near the end of it's fin, and the part that curls over is the point of the break? idk, can't say i've run into this before. it would be better if you could post a photo of the angel.
 
I agree with BFM. Pics are always an important part when you ask for answers to possible problems. It sounds to me though this is just aesthetic imperfection which I do not believe is an issue. It could either have been caused by injury or genetic imperfection.
 
agree with lupin.
either a genetic issue or damage.

not really a big issue and actually can be repaired.. but is should not affect the angel.
