Angelfish and female bettas

If it were me, I would try it and just watch closely. You never know what kind of weird tank mates will get along. Just look at my fish.

Well I guess it is not a common situation but I was hoping someone would say "yes, my female betta has been living with my angel for years!".

I can only say 'yes, my female betta has been living with my angels for weeks.' But she hangs out in the half of the tank where my parrot feather plant is tall enough that she can hide if they chase her. The angels get snippy sometimes, but she always has somewhere to go, and by and large they leave each other alone.
