I'm curious if anyone has successfully kept angelfish with otos (otocinclus). My big concern would be that the otos don't get much bigger than neon tetras, which can become lunch. Anyone have any experience either way?

I keep that combo...no problems so far...

I have lost only 2 otos in all the time I had this combo.

No problem with keeping Otos with Angels, seems that otos are not as atractive to Angels as neons.

I have one Oto with 7 Angels, no issues yet. I also don't think any fish in the tank knows the Oto is there, I sure don't some days...

Oto's are tough cookies! They also have sharp spikes at the end of every fin making them hard to swallow! I have lost a few here and there with Angels and Otos in the same tank but I think that other issues were at hand.

IME.. Otocinclus = food.

it works for some but not for me..if you try it, try to find the biggest oto's to start with..

I had at least 6 oto's with a large male angel, and he never bothered them. That angel died, I moved 2 others into the same tank, and no I only regularly see 1 oto.

Short answer, it might work.
