I was thinking about cockatoos, but just because i heard they were easier. I really like agassiz's (sp?). Any good harem breeders? The ones I kept before you Apistogramma sp "steel blue" sold to me as borelli's.

Cacs & aggies are both pretty easy I think. Cacs have a wider range of acceptable water hardness if that's an issue for you. Both are bred often & unless you get wild caught should do fine. I've only done pairs, no experience with trios but for me females can be the aggressive ones.

Petluvr, thanks, I think my lfs can get them too but they're so darn shy I may give them up.

I have 5 corys & a pair of apisto cacatuoides in a 29g. I'd add only 1 angel, 2 may be a pair & can be aggressive when breeding. If not a pair they may fight.

Totally agree. I'd also add a pair of apistos, ONLY 1 angel (I've had lots of bad luck with pairs), and 4-5 corys

you shouldn't have a problem, Chris has good stock and if not wild should be no problem with water conditions.
