hey guys!
so i got an angelfish and 3 mollies yesterday the mollies were 'kissing' the angelfish. what's happening and can you please tell me how to prevent this.

ps. the angelfish is the size of the mollies
pss. it's a 20 gallon TALL
psss. i have some small tetras in there

I don't know how much mollies chase other fish. Males will chase females all the time but I've never seen them chase other fish. You could try to put the angel in a clear floating cage for a few hours and see if it stops. One thing you will need to know is that those tetras are a month away from an angelfish snack!

I'd guess it's territory issues.

the 20 would work for a single angel but not much else.
the mollies have the benefit of a school(albeit small).
add to that it sounds like a young angel.

Does the angel appear healthy? Are there any small dots on his body? They my be trying to eat parasites. Do you have coverage for the angel to get away? ie: plants, rocks...That would help some. Like said earlier those tetras are going to be angelfish food. IMHO I would return the mollies and tetras and get larger tetras to grow with the angel.
