2 days ago I was able to get an angelfish for free from a lady who was having problems with it attacking her shark. It hasn't eaten anything since then and I'm trying to figure out what to do. My tank has some fake plants floating at the top which it likes to hang out under, and bunch of rockwork at the bottom that it goes down to sometimes. It seems to not be stress anymore...most of its color has returned and all its fins are up.

Also in the tank are 3 swordtails, 6 serpae tetras, and 4 cories. I've tried putting in the regular flake food, and stuck blocks of tubifex worms to the side of the glass but he hasn't eaten anything. The flake food gets pushed around alot by the emperor filter I have on their...so could it just be too much water movement for him to get to it? I need feeding advice

He may still be getting used to the new surroundings. Fish are ok if they don't eat for a couple of days, but more that a week indicates trouble. Give him some time, a good indication that he is settling down is that his color is back. He may not be used to the flow in the tank but he will gain the ability. He just needs to work with it. How big is the tank?

29 gallon tank, and the angelfish is about 4 inches long x 9 inches tall

sounds like you have a niced size angel there.

angels can be shy fish at first and it can take a bit for them to get used to their new home, especially with fish that are as active as swords and searpes.

is your tank planted/ has fake plants in it?

BTW, both searpe tetras and swordtails (depending on your male:female ratio for the swords) can be a bit nippy, so its not advisable to keep them with angels because of their long fins.

there are a few fake plants in the tank right now, and planning to get more soon

so far the serpae's and swordtails are keeping their distance from the angel...I think cause he's just so much larger than them, but I'll keep an eye on them
