angelfish heart attacks?

did the angel possibly get scared enough to maybe jump and hit the tank lid or some other decoration? that could have caused damage to his mouth and internal trauma that caused death if he hit hard enough. . . .

I do remeber scaring him earlier that day...but i dont remeber him hitting anything..he just kinda swam to the other side of the tank really fast. also i didient have any decorations in the tank till today when i did a water change added some nice stuff..looks good im much happier with it
