Hi,
I have a newly cycled 29 gallon (tall) that I am trying to decide what fish to add to. I know Angels get fairly large, but I was wondering if it would be possible to keep one in this tank (are they best in pairs or alone?).

It can work. I'd like them in a slightly bigger tank, but a 29 tall can suffice. I'd go with some plants too in an Angel tank.

A single angel would fit, that is theminimum sized tank really. Not ideal but it should work. What method of cycling did you use?

I did a fishless cycle with added ammonia for 3 weeks. I've now brought the nitrite and ammonia levels down near zero. My water is slightly acidic. I have some zebra danios in the tank right now, and I am trying to figure out what I want to add.

I do have a good number of live plants in the tank. I also have a few rocks and driftwood.
