Hello, since my 20 long is empty I am deciding on what to put in it.
Its been almost a year or 2 since I've kept angelfish.
I was wondering if I can keep 1 or 2 of them in a 20 long with some buneos aires tetras, and some corys. I would do it for about 5-6 months or until my pond is complete and the monsters are in the pond. Then they would be upgraded to the 150. What do you think?

I would say that might be pushing it depending on the size of the angels when you get them as a 20 long is only 12 inches tall overall and then the gravel so you would only be looking at about 9-10 inches of water.

hmmm.... the tank would be barebottom. The angels would be very small but dime to quater sized. Would that still be pushing it??
2x angels
3x rasoboras
4-6x corys

I think it will be all right if you kept 2 angels in a 20 gallon tank for a lil while until they get bigger and more territorial, then you will have to upgrade tank.

I would wait. If they dont have enough vertical height their dorsals will bend/kink. They will go from dime to adult in roughly 4 months. I think you're cutting it too close. Better to wait and not end up with deformed dorsals.
