I was sitting watching my 75, and my newish rubberlip pleco came to the front glass to eat some algea. One of my angelfish suddenly seemed to notice him... and came over for a longer look.

Now for the past ten minutes or so the one angel has been following the pleco around nipping at him, and one of the other angels tried it too once or twice. I don't THINK they can hurt him... it doesn't seem to bother him overly much since he flinches but doesn't bolt... but am I wrong?

If so, what can I do other then removing the pleco? The angels and the pleco are all around 3" big, and there are a LOT of hiding places and plants in the tank, and everyone had a big meal of frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp this morning.

Thanks...

Should not be a problem it is an armored catfish.

My Angels do the same thing to my Farlowella. They leave him alone except when he goes to this one rock on the left side of the tank or this one tall plant in the center. Other than that, they take no notice of him. He's learned to stay on the gravel, glass, or any other object in the tank. I don't get it? Why they all of a sudden notice him and nip him if he goes to those two spots? It's not like the Angels have staked out territory in the tank and the Farlowella is violating it....the Angels are all over the place. Anyway, unless they are tearing him up, or he refuses to eat, I wouldn't worry about it.
