ANyone have a good sugetion for stocking. I have a 30g and would like two angelfish, any idea for stocking the bottom level?

Two angel in a 30 is good. Not more angels.

For the bottom, you could consider some king of small pleco, or a group of corys (you could add up to 6). Corycats are fun to watch and will pick any food that is left in the bottom.

I would suggest a nice school of 7 cories. That will add lots of great movement. Make sure to get them a variety of sinking food pellets to keep them healthy.

small pleco would be something like a bristle nose(BN) pleco.

or some oto's.

no more than angels. You could put maybe 1or2balas maybe. Sure like what pataloco said is good corys are good. But a small pleco will be a huge pleco in a few months! add some danios or mollies maybe.

stick with a small species of pleco. there are quite a few that only get to 6".
there are a lot of very nice looking pleco's..they usually do well with the water conditions set for your angels.

go to planet catfish if you have questions and do the research.

I have a bn that has been in the tank for 6 months..she is only about 4 1/2" long..she shares the tank with 7 angels(5 will be moving to a 75 gallon.) and a few danios.
the only time I have issues is when the angles steal the bn's algae wafers. :bday: let the party begin when that happens.

Pran: balas are schooling fish. Need a group of at least 6. Their fast swimming habit make them unsuitable for tanks smaller than 100+ gl, not to mention they will grow to 8+ inches.
