It dpends on the fish! I had a Betta and two small angels all three around 3-4 inches long in a ten gallon tank together and they got along great! They would often be hanging out in the same corner of the tank. Mind you they were only together for about 2 months, then I moved the Angels into a bigger tank. But I think it just depends on your particular fish!
