Is it possible for me to set up a tank with angelfish and apistos-or rams??
I didn't know if the other fish would be too aggressive for the angels. thanks!

great! thanks! now would 20g be enough or should i put them in a 55?? I was looking at a pair of each, so i'm guessing 20 wouldn't be big enough, but was wondering anyhow, since we have an extra 20 lying around. :)

he he thanks! so the 55 it is then! We have a bunch of extrs 55's we got for a good deal and have been debating what to put in them. So one will go to the angels then!

For my experience angels and rams could be tankmates without problems, in a 55's you can put more than 2 pairs, they looks really nice with plants so make sure of add a couple of swords.... just my .05cents ;)

I don't know about more then 2 pairs of Angels in a 55, had that, that is why I added a 65. it is all very nice until you have a pair developing. Maybe if heavily planted.
Are you starting from scratch?
No fish at this time?
I keep a pair of angels and 3 rams in a 55 with 3 Ottos, all is well, same set up in the 65gl.
Main thing is to keep the water super clean.
I am sure guys here can help with any problem you might have, but plan ahead.

I don't have any problems keeping my angels with rams.

ok thanks! yes the tank is new, i'm going to cycle it fisrt, i was just checking first before i bought any fish!!! I learned THAT lesson many moons ago! lol! i intend to have the tank densly furnished with plants, rocks etc... But i do need to ask, do i need to watch the water current? should it be slow? from what i've seen of angels, they seem to be slower swimmers:) Thabks for all the help!
