im going to be doing some rearranging with my fish stock since im going to start up my old 20g long

ill just be sending over my black skirts to the 20g and add some rummy noses to it and close it at that

but now that i wont have the fin nippers in my 29g, would a angel fish be ok in there? the other fish in my 29g are zebra danios, 1 rainbow shark, 1 paradise, and 1 panda cory

would the angel be ok from fin nipping? because i dont know if zebras do that(ive never seen them do it)

It can go both ways..

You will wake up with the Danios eyes pecked out or Angels swimming with torn fins.

You can try it and if it doesn't work you can pull one or the other out.

Angels will usually peck at anything smaller then them. Mine do anyways.

fair enough, no angel, ill just close my stock right where it is

i also have another question, i was thinking of doing a species only tank with my 20g instead and going with ADF's, but my question is do ADF's really need filters?
I mean ill still will be doing my weekly 50% water changes but since they breath air, do they really need a filter?

I never had frogs.
But, I would say YES because they will be gasping for more air if the tank is too polluted.

tru tru, but i wont be going with chemical filtration, ill probly just get a sponge filter and do 2 water changes a week.
so, would ADFs and shrimp be good tank mates? i want this tank to be a lil diff then the ordinary

All fish and frogs and snails and the like need a filter. None of them want to be swimming around in their own filth. Doing two water changes a week with no filter is like only flushing your toilet twice a week. Definitely go with a filter for the little guys.
