Angels and what else in 5 gal

Hey Everyone... So i am new to the whole freshwater tank stuff..... i have a 5g and i have one med. angel fish and want to possibly get one other fish.... what other fish would be good in my fresh water fish with an angel... and be able to live in a 5g tank???? PLEASE help.. i am fairly new

An angelfish in a 5 gallon is already a problem - these things do readily grow to five inches long and eight or more in depth.

agree. a 5 is way too small for an Angel.

you will need atleast a 20 for a single angel(preferrably a 20 tall).

I agree, 20 gallons is the minimum for one angel. They get wayy too large for a 5 gallon. The only fish I think would be appropriate for a 5 gallon would be a betta. They have long flowing fins like angels, you would be much better off getting rid of the angel and getting 1 betta instead, or do snails and shrimp as BoredAgain suggested.

Other fish one can do in a 5.5 besides a betta would be a couple of killies, a few celestial pearl danios or even 3 small corys such as panda or pygmy.

how about a few neons and shrimps

Perhaps 4-5 male endlers and a couple amano shrimp with some live plants?
(this is not intended to condone keeping these WITH an angel... as others have stated, the angel cannot stay in that tank)

I echo the statements above. There are options - some already listed above for a 5G tank - but my Angles are all over 8" around after only 8 months!

A 5G tank is approx 15x8x10...

Unfortunately,
