Been browsing the site a good bit in the last few days. I know this is hardly a proper introduction, so please accept my apologies for that.
Last weekend I inherited a mated pair of angel fish. It stands to reason that they'd breed, but being a rank newbie at this I didn't even think about it..until tonight.
A bit earlier I noticed that the female angel had begun laying eggs on the intake for one of my filters (I wasn't aware until reading earlier that I should have found a piece of slate for them to spawn on).
My confusion is as to what to do now. I've read some things that seem inconsistant and I'm not sure when I should try to move things into the breeder net. Would it be wise to try to put the eggs in before they hatch? If so, should I try to get them off the intake tube or just disassemble it and try to put the whole thing in there? If not, should I do it immediately after they hatch?
Then, of course, I have to keep the babies alive if they do hatch. Just taking it one stap at a time though. lol
Sorry for all the questions. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
