I probably already know the answer to this, but...I have a gold-veiled (?) angel, a few yrs old, around 3". I'd like to get a small school of harlequin rasboras. Would they be safe with this angel? I think (s)he has already made a feast of neon tetras over the years altho that could be my imagination!
I certainly don't want to get "feeder fish" for the angel.
Your opinion? Thanks.

I have a school of harlequin rasboras in with my angel and she doesnt' touch them. But i think if you angel has already eaten neons then it will probably try and eat the rasboras too.

My angel has never tried to eat any of my tiny fish, even platy fry. So i guess its up to the individual fish.

But my guess would be they would probably get eaten if the angel has eaten small fish added to the tank in the past.

I keep rasboras with an angel about that size, maybe a little smaller. My harlequins are much fatter than neons, there is no way the angel would eat them. I was more worried, initially, that the rasboras would pester the angelfish, but they seem to get along fine. They leave each other alone.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! Sounds like it could work.
You know, I never actually SAW the angel devour a neon so I could be making false accusations! I thought that neons would be easy to keep but I just have no luck with them. I seem to remember reading that they've become more delicate over the years rather than hardier, as one would expect.
Hopefully the Rasboras aren't as delicate. I like seeing activity in my tank and I believe they would fit in nicely!
