Angels

I have 2 HUGE and Beautiful Angels. I get complimented on them constantly. I have had one of them for 4 1/2 years now (approx 8 inches) and the other one I have had for 1 1/2 years ( approx 5 inches). I have raised them from tiny babies. I am really interested in breeding them but I know nothing about breeding Angels. Is anybody an Angel breeder or do you have any info that could help me? Do any of you know a really good website(s) on breeding them.

They might not breed. Even if they are male and female, they may not be a compatible pair.

I think after 4 1/2 years of no action, your chances of them mating are kinda slim. Not impossible, but nonetheless, very slim.

if you do indeed have a male and female, you can also try separating them for a period of time by either putting them in different tanks or putting an opaque divider in the tank between them. after a while, reintroduce one to the other and see how they go from there.

You should go to www.angelfish.com and follw the links to the angel forum 2, they are quite nutty about breeding ect I have found them really helpful an I would guess if they cant help you then no one can!!!! Goodluck
