Annoyance about Ken's Website

Anyone else notice he's been a bit slow to respond to emails and getting orders out lately? I wonder what's going on. I agree that the site needs an overhaul and a spellchecker.
 
I just got an order from him.. the problem wasn't him getting the order out the problem was UPS taking 11 days to deliver it..(I suspect bad weather )
 
So I order most of my fish stuff from Ken's website now if I'm able to. I do have an annoyance about the site itself though.

The actual webpage is lame. He really needs to invest in a better website. I hate how each page opens a new window so that if you browse the site you end up with a bunch of open windows. Surely there is a better hosting solution than that.

Other than that the site is awesome and generally has the best prices! lol

Have you presented him with this thought before downing it on a public forum?
 
Well no because I dont know Ken personally lol. I just frequent the site. Since this is a forum for aquarium hobbyists I think its an appropriate place to make a point. I was more interested if people agreed with me? I also said its the place I use for my equipment.
 
I use Firefox and I always have a billion tabs open so it doesn't bother me too much. But I do agree that his website does need a more modern update. Might bring more business to.

I know I'm either gonna get hated upon or flamed for this by forum members. But I placed my first ever order with KensFish because of the good things I hear about him on the forum on Feb 17th. Feb. 23, I got the wrong order, I was missing stuff from the order. I e-mailed him right after I opened the box and noticed a missing item. Called 3 days in a row once in the morning between 10-11AM and once in the afternoon/evening between 3-5PM with no answer. I e-mailed him a final e-mail yesterday. If I don't get a reply by Sunday, I'm filing a claim with Paypal and reporting it to the BBB.

Have anyone else experienced problems like that with Ken? Incomplete orders?

i've ordered more than a few times from kensfish and I've never had a problem but that doesn't make him infallible by any means. Hope it works out for you. I'm off to shoot him an email about putting some sort of search function for his website as long as there are suggestions for improving his site :)
 
If you look up reviews on Kensfish, you'll see that lack of communication isn't all too uncommon.
