hi recently i got a female crimson tide to go with the male i had, my male has always been a beautifil fish great colours good shape, but when i got the female ( the fish store isn't the greatest IMO i reckon they need some water changes in all there tanks) she was really thin .

I feed my fish everyday with flakes and pellets somedays i also feed bloodworm. I've had the female crimson for a couple weeks but she isn't getting any bigger and fatter.

I'm pretty sure she isn't holding any eggs (crimson tides are mouthbrooders).

Here some pics from google so you can see the fish i'll try to get some pics soon.

BTW all my other fish are eating fine and at feeding time she doesn't even attempt to eat the food :(:(

If anyone has any idead or comments or anything on crimson tides or how to fatten her up a bit please say i would really appreciate it :)

Not sure what it is, but she definitely doesn't look healthy.

yeah i know, well thanks for trying :)

i hope she is ok :S

Omega one makes some marine pellets (yes they are safe to feed to FW) that are enhanced with garlic as an appetite stimulator. Might help. Also maybe try some bloodworms soaked in metranidazole for internal parasites.
