I must have just logged into ebay about 5 minutes after a guy listed 2 HOT magnums complete working condition all parts included for only 12.99 each buy it now no bidding well how could you pass that deal up so I didnt and bought both of them. total w/ shipping was 38.00 for both I think it was a good deal anyway.

the 2 hot magnums arrived tonight by ups so i took them out put them together fired them up and the work like new, BUT I have a question. 1 of the filters has the usual on and off button like all my others but 1 has NO on/off button is that 1 a older model or new model? you just plug it in and it starts up. it works great but its just made different.

The newer mags have an on/off switch, which is quite useful instead of having to pull the plug. In fact I like it so much I may wind up installing a switch for like my heaters and other filter for my 5g so that when I do WCs I'm not having to pull plugs.
