Another Electrical Question

I did some snooping around in my house today (I just bought it a few months ago) and I found a wire running into a closet. The closet was made to hold a stackable washer and dryer. There is a 220 outlet in there for the dryer. A wire goes from there, across the floor of the closet to a 110 outlet. From there the wire goes up in the ceiling. It reappears in the kitchen cabinets and runs the length of the kitchen. From there it goes back up into the ceiling. I'm wondering where this goes because maybe I can take that out onto the Florida Room for power. I'll never use the 220 outlet in the closet because I have a full size washer and dryer so I won't be buying a stackable set.

220 v. 110 power

talk to your electrician about that-I can't remember if you can "split" a 220 line into 2 110 lines or not...if not, you can't use 220 to run most of your tank system, as they are all only 110 appliances.
He may be able to change out the circuit & switch it to a 110, though...then you'd already have the wire run partway-that's half the battle in electric lines is running new wires without tearing up the walls.
I'm not an electrician myself, but I watched my Dad a lot! Also, our regs. out here in Kansas let us do our own wiring in our own homes, as long as we follow nat'l/local codes.
