Hey, I looked on the net, but I couldn't find this exactly...I just traded for 4 of these guys...

Hopefully someone can ID this cory for me, as I was thinking of attempting to breed them...thanks!

So in other words any breeding advice would greatly be appreciated...Hopefully they are basically the sam as other cory cats and just plop them in a bare 10gal with a sponge filter sort of deal...

Bingo!

now the question is can anyone help with breeding?

I was reading these guys tend to be more expensive than reqular cory cats due to the fact they are usually wild caught? Why is that?

Hate to through a spanner in the ID works but it looks very much like my male brochis splendens. Hard to tell what the colouring is like in that photo.

sorry dlv...I dont think it is...gunna stick with the rabauti...

still is there anyone who might suggest best breeding techniques?

ARE YOU SURE???

Could be either Rabauti or Zygatus.

Impossible to tell the difference unless they are babies.

Not easier nor harder to breed then the usual cory.

Well, fed, both sexes, slight temp drop after water change, ect.

I agree with Tanker. Could very well be zygatus. Rabauti and Zygatus are often confused. For the Rabauti there should be a faint hint of that dark line going into the caudal fin. On Zygatus that dark line does not. This is one to take to planetcatfish for one of the experts to identify properly.
