Capt. Hook's post is exactly why I was trying to steer you away from 5wpg. The less light, the more forgiving it is. I was suggesting the most light that I think you'd need for the applications you mentioned.

And no, I do not now, nor have I ever worked for or with AH Supply. I have had numerous occasion to use their services and IMO, they are 1st rate. I will say this...
I have used their tubes and have used tubes I purchased from www.Hellolights.com and have gotten longer service from the ones I purchased from Hello Lights and they gave excellent service.
Soooooooo, if today I was looking to purchase a new lighting system, I would use AH for the guts (absolutely the best reflectors around) and Hello Lights for the tubes.
