Another loach question

Do they prefer the driftwood as a hiding place or do they like to chew on the wood as i have seen it mentioned about other fish?

Clowns like hiding in driftwood alot. Just be carefull that there arn't spaces in the driftwood that are too cramped because the clowns might get stuck.

They don't eat driftwood.

My clowns abandonded all artificial caves in favor of cramming themselves into driftwood. They like tight spaces, so do be carefull there is'nt a space they can get stuck in. I don't know how many times I've glanced into a driftwood knot hole and seen at least three clown tails hanging out of it!
