Another Plant ID?

What is this? Saw it in a tank somewhere ages ago and never found out what it was...

Those would be one of the taller anubias varieties, I suppose. Can't see the leaves, so it's kinda hard to identify which one. Probably outgrew his tank.. and he cut off the tops.
 
Ya its impossible to tell without seeing a leaf.

Rhizome and all looks to be some type of anubias though.

Cheers. It's all that could be seen actually, I'm not that daft like! It was in a zoo, and the tank was 'in-wall' so couldn't see above the tank. Looks cool though eh? How long would it take to grow this big? I like the tree trunk effect the stems give
 
It would probably take years with a small cutting to get that large. Really depends on how big of a piece you start with.

Agreed, it would probably take a while. Need lots of light, CO2, and maybe even steroids. ;)
 
Could be anything. Personally I think they're reeds or rushes of some kind.

If you look closely in the second pic you can see leaves whick look like one of the narrow leaf species of anubias.

Also in the first pic near the bottom.
