I have two dogs with a doggie door! They are so fired. But truthfully I would rather not end up with a dog at the vets. Raccoons are pretty nasty.

WOW that totally sucks!! but to add to your story, my grandparents have a large koi pond and one week they went on vacation and asked me to feed the fish while they were gone so i went over only to notice only 3 fish left in the pond. at first I thought the neighbors kids may have swiped a few so I proceeded to the garage to get some food only to notice a large crane swooped down landed on a rock and started eyeballing the last 3 fish in the pond. soo I grabbed a broom and proceed to chase it off. soo I found out that Koi not only are expensive but must also taste good to local water fowl.
I have heard of water fowl making off with goldfish and koi. I live near a good sized river and we have great blue herons here. They are troublesome!
I don't doubt anything anymore. I've had hawks attacking my FULL GROWN CATS! One of the boys has talon marks down his back and two holes where they pecked at him!
