So I managed to make snail jello and my bridgsii snails love it:headbang2:. If I'm giving them those and algae wafers is that an acceptable diet? How often should I feed them? I also put a cuttlebone piece in the tank weighted down by a rock. I'm going to lower the water level tomorrow so maybe they'll give me some eggs.

Am I doing ok by them? I really love them and want to do this right :)

the snail jello should be great for your shrimp especially if you fortify it with calcium, but the cuttle bone might serve that purpose just fine. The jello and algae wafers will give them good coloration (plant matter). If you want to give them a bit more protein in their diet for better breeding, you could rotate in some crab cuisine and blood worms like H3D does. I found an article which should give you an idea of what some of the more hardcore (at least imo hehe) shrimpers are feeding. Feeding Dwarf Shrimp - The Basics

I'm an idiot... I'm actually asking about feeding my snails :)

I feed the jello a few times a week and supplement in between with either veggie or catfish pellets. Its easy to overfeed and get secondary pests. I usually cut the jello into half postage stamp sized pieces to feed. Sounds like you are doing everything right. Just remove any uneaten jello after about 12 hours to help reduce waste in the tank. A turkey baster works really well for this :)
