Anubias flower

Congrats and great looking Anubias!!

Yea - i wonder if they can actually be fertilized; i have a pinto anubia that sends out a flower once a month or so.

I think extra phosfate or potassium (can't remember which 1) helps anubias to flower. But they are slow to grow flowers. 1 every other week/ month is pretty much as you can expect. Still, I love to see their flowers!

they look like peace lilies! even the leaves do, especially coffee-folia

Very cool indeed!

My kids call them bananas. "Dad your plants sprouted bananas again."

Update: it has been four months and the 1st flower is still around. As a matter of fact, a 2nd flower appeared soon after. Anubias flower.jpg
