Is this some type of weird mutation or some of the regular nana's just happened to be lighter colored?
A LFS is selling small potted specimens for $15 / each, while regular ones about the same size are selling about $7 - $8 down here.
My gf freaked when she heard I wanted to spend $15 for a small plant. :P

I have no idea, but they grow like crazy.

Sounds like your GF has been consulting with my wife. :(

Yeah, they are a really nice light green.
It's a bit different than the typical intense green from java ferns, regular nana's.
I like the light green coloration!

Heh ... I suppose had you spend $50 on a 12 stupid stem of decorated red roses that wouldn't even last for more that 1 week would've been OK with them.

Now that's a good point! :)

Must have 3-way calling!!!!

Just tell her it's an investment. In a few months, you'll have more and can sell them back to the lfs and actually make money!!!! Don't bore me with details like "the lfs won't buy plants" etc... just tell her that and IF she remembers in a few months...uh oh, they changed their policy! Darn!
