Any Cichlids for 15g?

I have a 15gallon planted whose fish inhabitant population is dwindling (had most of these fish for about 1.5yrs now, neons and cardinals mostly). Besides the ABN pleco there is maybe 2 neons left.

So before I just restock with more neons / cardinals / guppies or something I figured I'd see if I can put something else in there.

Never had cichlids and I don't know if I could even keep any in a tank this size.

If 15g is too small for any cichlids then that's fine, just figured I'd inquire. But if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears :)

thanks

i third on the apistogramma thing!!!!

shellies would work but you would have to get rid of the plants or they probably will for you. They will arrange your hang however they want. However, when it comes to character and fun to watch, you cant beat the shellies. If you want color and want to keep the plants the go with the apistos all the way!
