So far so good. No heavy breathing, no disoriented pace swimming back and forth up and down. Just the typical cave shyness expected and burst of flight to another cave if I happen to catch a glimpse with a tiny flash light.
Since the previous Puffers didn't make it, I return all but one orange Molly in the hope of offering some outgoing encouragement during this shy stage.
As a precaution I diden't do the normal water change on this tank like all the others today, I plan to do 2 gallon water changes every other day until full acclimation takes place.
I will give you a hint though, this fish has a genus but no specie.
