Any good burrowing fish??

My tire Track Eel spends most his time buried under the substrate.

i read that the loach gets to 8", is this true?

If you mean the Kuhli, one source says 4"; another says "3 1/2", possibly more"; and a third says "up to 3 inches".

Edit:

Kuhli loaches will also burrow in sand.

I second banjo cats. They spend 99% of their time buried in sand. When startled, they turn nose down and vibrate like crazy to rebury themselves. It's super cute
