As I posted in my introductory thread, I am currently working on my second SW aquarium. I lost my first tank due to a leak which popped up over night and I ended up donating all my livestock to my LFS. The leaking tank is 29 gallons and is in great shape, aside from the leak. I was considering setting it up as a second aquarium, a sump, or even turning it into a quarantine tank. Should I just toss it in the trash or is it actually worth while to try and fix it? I noticed my LFS has silicone for repairing tank leaks, how does this stuff work? TIA.

It works by sealing off leaks..but to do so, one would have to remove the old seals
