Any idea?

Hi i have got what i can only describe as being little palm trees growing on my rock.

They are brown in color and open up during the day and close at night.
Any idea what they are,and are they good or bad for my tank?

Yupp star corals I think. They are beautiful. If you want to keep them, what type of lighting do you have? Dosing phytoplankton also helps.

brown clove/star polyps is what they look like, this species has yet to be given a scientific name actually lol.
