i can tell you that there is at least 5, probably 10 species of fish sold under the name "banjo cat" Some grow to about 5 or 6 inches and some as large as 15. When you do find it in the store, bring that book you have (if its a good one) to identify the species. There are few fish that would attempt to eat a full grown cory and succeed. But I wouldn't doubt that fish will eventually try because it is all mouth. It has got to have one of the biggest mouth to body ratios of any catfish normally sold in trade. They hide a lot and you probably won't see it much, but if you want it I would say go for it if it one of the smaller species. Make sure you don't get a Chaca sold under that name (as juvies they can look very alike if you don't look closely) because a Chaca will eventually just about anything, I think its up to three quarters of their own body length at full grown 8 inches. Pretty cool fish. Definately something different to spice up your aquarium if you don't need to see it every day.. or uhh week.. haha
