Still working on the article linked in my sig. Any stocks for a pleco lover who has a ten gal?

pleco fry.....

:iagree: I really wouldn't put any pleco in anything under 40g. And that's only certain plecs with a good filter.

Albino BN don't get over 3 inches generally. Clown plecos usually are around 2.5inches. Don't know why these wouldn't be ok in a well filtered 10g tank (it's not like plecos are particularly active fish)

the minimum tank size for a clown pleco is 20g and for each ADITIONAL clow plec its an added 10g and ditto for the bristlenose pleco
if i am not mistaken ;)

Just out of curiosity, what is the rationale behind that?

They eat and thus poop large amounts.

My L144's are smaller than normal bristlenose and I would not keep any in a 10G tank. Bristlenose are always on the move, and there's just nowhere for them to go and they'd have very little biofilm to eat.

You might, stress, might, be able to get by with an LDA08 or 2. They only get to be 3" or less. You would need to do some research on them.
