Any suggestions for another fish for Damon?

ric- you were given the right info, usually odd is recommended. With the chalk bass it is recommended to half an even number however (forget the exact reason) but it has something to do with mirroring there schools in the wild, as well as the behavior.

Edit to that last message:

I should really read the whole thread.. Nice choice Subliminal.. I like those angels. Good luck.

I'm on the fence between a flameback and a coral beauty.... The only reason i am hesitent to get one is that they aren't considered reef safe... I guess you just kinda have to try it out and see huh.... Im thinking the flameback will be less likely to nip at corals because it is smaller then the coral beauty...

What do you guys think?

Well, possible. I heard these guys have a tendancy to be aggressive.

And, actually, when i think back, the coral beauty i used to have was pretty aggressive, too.

Genicanthis is the way to go with angels ... but in a 29gallon a flame back will be the perfect angel.(no pun intended)

Damon he's your last fish, you did it the right way, so he shouldn't be agressive with his tank mates now ... but if you add something later on down the line he may give you a problem.

As far a nipping corals .. it's a 50/50 split with angels unless it's Genicanthis genus and then it's more like 80/20.

But I've read posts where people say thier tangs are eating corals .. so it could happen with all kinds of fish..I've also read where people keep regal angels in reef tanks and that is a no no to every book in the hobby ... just keep him fed and i'm sure you'll be fine.

Keep us updated when ever you can.
