I'm thinking of introducing him to my relatively new 55 gal. tank, and I'm curious if any of you have this fish and what your general opinions are on them? I happened to notice one the other day at my LFS and loved his personality. He really seemed to dig all the attention he was getting, and was having a fun time going back and forth between his burrow and out in the open itself. Any suggestions regarding this cool fish would be appreciated.

I have a jawfish with 2 tomato clowns and 2 scooter blennies. He is an AWESOME fish. Incredible personality and wonderful colors. My yellowhead is about 3 inches long right now and bright yellow with green and blue. He is a tank favorite and loves to poke in and out of his hole. I highly recommend this fish.

I have had three that I absolutely loved.Kept hoping to keep one long term.
Hard fish to keep. Two carpet surfers and a Mantis shrimp.Lost all three.
You must have a fully enclosed top.The second one jumped out of a one inch hole (tube return). It was on a 100g tenecor.I had the e. jagr heater butted against this unused hole.
Removed heater for about eight hours and he found that one little hole.
Great fish if you can keep one from jumping.

I have one in my girlfriends tank and IMO is one of the most porsonable fish you can get.He lives in a little burrow he dug under a blue zoo rock and just watches whats goin on.Great colors on them! :)
