Any way to replace Fluval Chi light?

So, I've had this 6.6 gallon fluval chi tank for about 5-6 months now, and the little light on top that shines up through the water fountain, went out! Is there any way to replace/fix this? I really don't want to spend near $50 for a replacement cube, especially because its not that big of a problem, but its still a problem. So, anything I can do?? Thanks!

that's a common problem with them

do you have the receipt? they have good reviews on customer service, it's always worth a call or email without the receipt
